dr. elena byrnes
Dr. Elena C. Byrnes is a Board-Certified Optometrist who received her Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from Queen’s University in Ontario. Following her undergraduate education in Canada, she completed the Doctor of Optometry program at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Byrnes subsequently completed a nationally accredited residency program in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She has trained and since practiced extensively in the area of ocular disease.
Dr. Mita Gupta
Dr. Mita Gupta is a Board-Certified Optometrist who received her Bachelor of Science degree from the New York Institute of Technology in 2001and successfully completed the Doctor of Optometry program at the State University of New York College of Optometry in 2005. Dr. Gupta completed her residency program at the Hudson Valley Veteran Affairs Healthcare System in Montrose, New York with a primary focus on the treatment and management of ocular disease such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy. During her residency she also trained on specialty and rigid contact lenses as well as prosthetic customization and fitting. Following her residency her paper on Vitreo-Macular Traction Syndrome gained her a Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry in December of 2006.
